Am I doomed? Please help!

I live in San Ramon. Husband of 20 years makes $100k. Two kids (13 & 11). $50K in debt. I was laid off and am looking for work. Will make in the high $30K eventually. Fairly new to the area. No friends, family in other states. He doesn't want divorce and I do. I've told him but the money/debt is holding it off. To share custody, which is what we want, I'd have to stay in this expensive area. I feel like I'm going out of my mind. I'm trapped, depressed, scared and uninformed. I don't know who to talk to professionally about the financial division/allocation. Can anyone give me some guidance? I would really appreciate it!
