Why? From what you have posted, you are very involved with your child. Not only that, you aren't the one who moved 300 miles away from the child's home.

I wouldn't listen to those people. She chose to move away (the fact that she has a boyfriend is not relevant when it comes to custody), therefore, she chose to become a long-distance parent.
