He is still required to help support the children. He is in contempt of the court order to pay child support. You should really consider taking him back to court. I understand that you do not want to put the children through anything more. But let me ask you this. Are you doing fine without the child support money. Are you able to cloth, feed, and otherwise provide for your children w/out the CS? If the answer is "yes", then I would just let it go for now and do nothing. However, the fact that you posted this question leads me to believe that you do, indeed, need this money to help with your children. By not taking him to court, and thus not getting this CS, you are also indirectly causing some problems for your kids. Also, the other issues you mentioned about your ex's girlfriend, etc are quite concerning. Have you talked to a lawyer or considered reporting this to DFCS? If you feel that it's not safe for your children at his home, this should be your #1 priorty.
