Thanks for the advice- I tried looking on line & some instances I found had favorable results in the same situation. I will continue to research the options...But now I have another question.
What options are there in a case where the ex wife remarried someone who is pretty sound financially and she does not work (by her own choice). And lives pretty high on the hog while the father (who is also remarried with a family) finds himself in a situation where things are not good financially and he has lost his home & filed for bankruptcy. Yet he is ordered to pay her $500 per month while he is struggling to make it and keep his family together.
It just does not seem like the only way... Is there any consideration in Nevada for a change in a situation like that? And if so can it be done without having to hire an attorney? We can't afford an attorney and are trying to look at all options to keep ourselves afloat.
