SHARED PARENTING

Went to court the other day..My lawyer & Her Lawyer sat and went over the child support guidelines..

But, I was.. a little confused, I thought due to the "Shared Parenting" where I have our son 42 % of the time..during the week..Thurs 6pm --through Sun 6PM
every week

Our income is very close, I may make maybe 5,000 more per year...

I don't get ..how could the courts allow this ?
Any thoughts
