In reading the decree of 7/32/2003, I ran across an item that I had previously overlooked and has recently been pointed out to me, much to my consternation. After stating the support payments will be distributed to the child at age 18 if they attend school pursuant to ORS 107.108, it says: "If support is ordered for more than one child, the order will be a "class order"; meaning the court ordered amount will remain the same until the LAST (capped, bolded and underlined)child is no longer eligible for support". Is this a typo? or does it really mean that as each child (there are four) turns 18 and goes to school, I must pay them their share (1/4) of the support and continue to pay the original support amount. So, this means, that as my x's expenses decrease due to children turning 18, she in effect receives more money for her living expenses. Is this really what it says? I need help from someone in the know. Thanks
