Ok I need some more info. First you say you have insurance are you saying the child is insured by you already? Second when your child support was set up it should have been included in the formula that you are paying the medical. I am a non-costodian parent and I have to pay more child support because my Ex pays all medical for our child. I don't have insurance myself and she gets it from her work so it works out better this way.
Without more information I would say do your best to work this out without going to court. My thinking by what you wrote is that your EX is bitter about you and if you take this to court his bitterness will not get better. This will probably do more harm to your child then good. I am not telling you to give up just find a common denominator that works the best all the way around without fighting or at least fight as a last,last resort. Maybe if you can work this all out where everybody wins he will realize what you are doing and maybe he will be more willing to work with you on your next fire.
