Saving in the company 401k

My wife of 25 years just moved out and got her own apartement. She also filled for divorce (did not get the papers yet though). I still love her dearly and this thing is tearing me a part. However I have to move on according to her. I undertand that in Michigan it's the 50/50 rule. I have a question though, regarding how the savings in the my company 401K program is dealt with in the divorce
Appreciate any answer.
