Dear Sirs,
Six Years ago my Ex Wife and I got a divorce through Mediation…No alimony, and no child support granted because we both have shared custody .I recently heard through conversations with my kids that my ex wants to ask for retro active child support, at present she is going through her second divorce, of which she needed to move out of his house and get her own rent, now her finances are low and she wants to go after me. We live in CT Should I get a Lawyer before she serves me for court. If our divorce is final can she come after me even though we share equal custody of the children (4) our papers state that we both waived our rights for alimony then and in the future, but didn’t say anything about child support.

Thank You

Curly
