need some help

Hi my name is Kristin. I used to live on Long Island in New York. I recently left my husband because he was abbusive to me in front of my daughter and he was a drug addict. We couldn't pay rent and we had 2 weeks to get out. I had no one to stay with so I took my daughter and went to stay with my sister in Florida. I want to get a divorce and get full custody of my daughter but I don't think I can do anything from Florida. I'm affraid if I go back to Long Island, my husband will take her and I won't be able to find her. He's a drug addict and I don't want her around him unless someone else is there. Can anyone give me some advice please.
