The First Time You Have to Break Up With Someone After Your Divorce

Okay, you finally have admitted it to yourself; the cute friend you’ve been bedding for the past two months is wearing thin on your nerves and it’s time to call it off. The fun has ran its course and it’s a side of yourself you aren’t proud to admit. Perhaps you jumped into this fling for selfish reasons. Well, lessoned learned. You haven’t ever broken up with someone before, or at least, not lately. So what do you do?

End it before it gets out of hand. Just say no. Remember, you fought long and hard for your freedom, you don’t need to give up the farm so fast.

On the flip side, what about the first time someone breaks up with you? Depending on how attached you became to this person it can almost feel like going through another mini-divorce. When you use your divorce as a benchmark for how bad it can be, then you will realize that you will be over this minor set back in no time. Divorce does that for you. It gives you amazing perspective. By comparison, all other break ups can’t equate to the life altering changes a divorce brings…assuming you haven’t moved in together.
