There are so many financial, medical, and household things we have to get in order after our divorce that it is easy to forget a thing or two. There’s nothing like the feeling we get when we realize we haven’t changed important papers that still contain our ex as the contact person. Realizing our ex still holds power of attorney for life support should we become hospitalized and comatose, or that they are the emergency contact person should we be involved in an accident isn’t a laughing matter. Some of you may be taking a deep breath right now!
